The EQUICOR XP™ Saddle Pad is specifically designed for the western performance horse.  Made with 100% natural virgin wool, the XP pad utilizes an innovative material, sewn into the saddle bars of the pad to absorb shock and pressure, virtually eliminating back issues and soreness.  The XP pad comes standard with a 100% Merino fleece bottom for added comfort and protection but can also be regular wool bottom.  

No other padding is needed as the XP pad is designed as a stand-alone pad and they are hand-made in the USA!
